Strangers Only clothing, a swim & post-swim wear brand, recently opened up their first Austin-based concept store on W 2nd St in downtown Austin. To celebrate, they’re hosting a fun evening soiree and invited me to come complete a live painting during the event. (*cue nervous, but excited giggles)
I’ll be setup w/ my paints and looking to our guests for creative direction and inspiration throughout the event. Maybe ill ask for a favorite color, song lyric or overhear a funny joke. I’ll be weaving it all together as we shop, sip and hang together. My goal is to produce a truly unique piece that embodies the spirit and energy of the evening.
There will be food courtesy of Meat & Bread, cocktails by our friends at High Desert Vodka and sips by Ranch Rider Spirits.
What I really like about the Strangers Only brand & is that they have the most interesting prints and only produce limited runs of each style. So once they’re gone, they’re gone. I love the divergence from fast fashion and emphasize on good quality materials, design and construction. It’s also nice knowing you can walk around and not everyone will be sporting the identical fit.
